Licensed Professional Counselor
Transformed Counseling was created with the intent to help people achieve healthy and satisfying relationships. I have been providing counseling services since 2012, specializing in helping people identify and achieve their personal goals by coping with the issues that are causing them anxiety and stress. I strive to help individuals, couples and families heal and grow through authentic, compassionate relationships with my clients.
GET TO KNOW ME
In my free time, I love chasing around my son, Leo, and traveling with my wife, Lisa. A healthy lifestyle is very important to me, and I try to accomplish that by eating well and maintaining my physical fitness. I'm an active member at Northside Christian Church where I volunteer with teaching children K-6.
Since 2012, I have provided counseling services, first at the Betty and Bobby Allison Ozarks Counseling Center, then at the Robert J. Murney Clinic at Forest Institute. Currently, I own Transformed Counseling as a private practice.
Since 2009, I have facilitated many groups and training workshops for people in various contexts:
men and women from self-help workshops and independent groups
college students and resident hall assistants at a university
women at a domestic violence shelter
men convicted of domestic violence
teens and their families from teen court
junior high students at an alternative school
I have several years of experience as an academic advisor at Missouri State University where I have also taught several undergraduate courses as per course faculty.
